On-Site Training

How can you bring the Self-Advocate Leadership Network to your state?

image of US mapThe Leadership Network has already been to Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

In addition, Network members have presented at numerous conferences throughout the United States.

In your state, we can:

  • Work directly with self-advocates to provide instruction,

  • Prepare support staff to work directly with self-advocates,

  • Work with teams of self-advocates and support staff, or

  • Design an instructional format to fit your state's unique needs.

Sessions can involve brief presentations or extended training conducted over several months. The number of session participants will be limited depending on the demands of the session.

Two members of the Leadership Network will always provide the training, one a self-advocate and the other a staff member from Human Services Research Institute.

Costs

Terms are negotiable based on your needs and the expenses we anticipate. After talking with you, our team will develop a proposal for your review to describe the training that will be offered and its cost. All terms are subject to mutual approval.
